Who we are
SpeakWithDi is an English-conversation coaching service run by Diane Pieters (“Di”). Our website address is speakwithdi.com.
What we collect and why
- Account and order information — when you buy a Starter Pack, lesson pack, or VIP session, we collect your name, email address, and billing details to process the order and give you access to your lessons.
- Payment information — payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card details ourselves.
- Lesson progress and homework — if you submit homework or messages as part of a lesson pack, we keep that content so Di can review it and give you personal feedback.
- Contact form submissions — if you message us through the contact page, we keep your name, email, and message so we can reply.
- Cookies — our site uses cookies for things like keeping your basket contents while you shop and remembering that you’re logged in. You can disable cookies in your browser, though parts of the site (like checkout) may not work properly without them.
Who we share your data with
We share the minimum information needed with a small number of trusted services that help us run SpeakWithDi:
- WooCommerce (our store platform) and our payment processor, to process orders and payments.
- Hostinger, our website host, which stores the site and its data on our behalf.
- Standard site analytics tools, to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. This data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally.
We never sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone else for marketing purposes.
How long we keep your data
We keep order and account information for as long as your account exists, and as needed to meet our accounting and legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal information except where we’re required to keep records (for example, for tax purposes).
Your rights over your data
You can ask us at any time to see the personal data we hold about you, correct anything that’s inaccurate, or delete your account and associated data. Just email diane.e.pieters@gmail.com and we’ll take care of it.
Who this service is for
SpeakWithDi is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, as our services change or to reflect legal requirements. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above whenever we do.
